Montana on Flathead Lake 8 miles south of Kalispell, Montana and 45 minutes to Glacier
National Park. Blacktail Mountain ski area and Big Mountain ski area are just minutes

Mountain Ranges, the drive along Flathead Lake's west shore offers an impressive backdrop
of snow-capped peaks with brilliant blue water in the foreground. Or walk to our neighbor,
the Montana Grill, one of the finest restaurants in the Treasure State, for a wonderfully

Big Mountain and Blacktail ski areas.Snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and

Sweet cherries are the commercial crop of choice surrounding Flathead
Lake. Blooming in the spring and producing fruit in July and August you can buy cherries
from one of the many stands around the lake.Come and relish Montana style hospitality in
our restaurants, cafes, pubs, casinos, antique and art galleries. Only 45 minutes from
Glacier National Park.
Built in the spring of 1998, Somers Bay Log Cabin Lodging is a magical
place that will help make those special Montana memories. Each cabin is handcrafted to
give authentic, yet cozy atmosphere. Local craftsmen have hand peeled log beds and
furnishings to add to the rustic charm. Chose between a studio or a bedroom cabin, each
has a queen size log bed and a queen size sofa sleeper. All of the cabins come
equipped with kitchenettes consisting of microwave ovens, stove top, refrigerator, coffee
maker and of course all the dishes and linens needed. Also for your convenience, full
private bath, phones and cable T.V. Don't forget the boat and outdoor toys, we have plenty
of parking for boats and trailers.

A WORD FROM YOUR HOSTS
Tom, Jane and their son Sam moved to the Flathead Valley from
Jackson Hole WY in 1997. Together they designed, built and landscaped all the authenic log
cabins. Both are active in real estate sales, building custom homes and cabins, and
running the resort. They stay active in the community belonging to the Lakeside/Somers
Chamber of Commerce and the Kalispell Chamber. Please let us know if we can assist you
